ELIXIR-IIB bioinformatics training

Marco Antonio Tangaro

Marco serves as "Champion" in the INDIGO-DataCloud project, responsible of the development of the ELIXIR-IIB use case. It consists in the development of a fully customizable Galaxy instance provider platform based on the technologies developed within the INDIGO-DataCloud project framework. When fully operational this platform will allow the easy setup an on-demand workspace, ready to be used by life scientists and bioinformaticians. He obtained a PhD in Physics at the University of Bari (Italy) in 2015, working within the ALICE experiment at the LHC (CERN, Geneva) for 4 years.
